This is my version of my little brothers "Doctor Zilph" I set out to balance and tweak him to how he would be fair. I think this character would be really fun to have on your team.

The crazed alchemist

0 common, 1 secret, 0 elite, 0 henchmen
Potions: May use each once per game, however check luck for side effects after the ability wears off: Invisibility: +7 stealth until the melee phase of your next turn, and can move through enemies without stopping. Vitality: May use on any living character in your space +1 currant and maximum health. Stone Toughness: until the start of your next turn, +3 Melee, power and defense, +2 damage, and -6 react. (130 survival, 40 adventure)
Side effects: check luck, on a 1,2,8, or 9 nothing happens, on a 3 or 7 permanently lose 1 react, on a 4 or 6 permanently lose one of each range stat, and on a 5 Check luck again, if a five again die. If not take the side effect given. (-70 survival, -20 ranged)
Crinch and anyone killed by Crich are non-revivible. (5 survival, 20 melee)
